This tutorial introduces the basic theory needed to understand double-probe
experiments in the magnetosphere. It explains what happens when you
put a conducting body in a sunlit plasma teaches some basics of Langmuir
theory and explains how the basic physics behind the different modes of EFW.
It consists of 5 parts:
